About Jacques Waterside Dining
Jacques Waterfront Dining is one of St. Lucia's most popular restaurants, with a long-standing reputation for consistency in both the quality of the food and the service with which it is delivered. Jacques recently re-located to Rodney Bay following a devastating fire in their previous Vigie Cove location in August 2011 sadly everything was destroyed. They are now on the water's edge at the entrance to the Rodney Bay Marina at the end of Reduit Beach. We are open for lunch and dinner every day and on Sundays we are open for a French style Jazz brunch with live music, and closed on a Sunday evening. From the end of April until the middle of December (the low season) there is no Jazz brunch we are therefore closed all day on Sundays.
DIRECTIONS: Turn off the John Compton Highway into Rodney Bay at the junction by the JQ Mall and follow the road to it's end, Jacques is on the right at the end of this road, look for the sign. Coming by sea? You can tie up to our boat and dinghy dock just inside the entrance to the Rodney Bay Marina.
Chef Jacques is well travelled, having worked in Africa, the Middle East and Far East, and enjoys bringing his various culinary experiences into his cuisine.
When asked about his style of cuisine he likes to talk of fusion. French and Caribbean cusines are melded using his French cooking experience and the wonderful Caribbean flavours that are available to him on a daily basis.
We are well known for our reliable outside catering services, having catered for the V.I.P suite for all the games of Cricket World Cup 2007 held in St Lucia, as well as for functions at the residences of the Prime Minister and the Governor General, and for some of St. Lucia's largest and most reputable organisations, such as the St. Lucia Tourist Board and East Caribbean Financial Holdings Ltd.
